The works below were on display July, August, and September, 2021, in the second floor Gallery area of the Curry Public Library located in Gold Beach, Oregon.

SURFING AT BATTLE ROCK

KISSING ROCK BEACH WALK #2

The sun peeks though the clouds to light up the beach while walking towards Kissing Rock, just south of the town of Gold Beach, Oregon.

A storm the day before produced waves up to 30 feet that washed over the beach, creating some very dramatic patterns and exposing rocks that had been buried under the sand. Mixed media on canvas

ASTORIA-MEGLER BRIDGE - SUNSET

Looking up at the Astoria-Megler Bridge. This painting shows the bridge at sunset with high tide partially obscuring the old pilings sticking up from the water on the Astoria, Oregon, side of the Columbia River.

PORT ORFORD BEACH

A painting based on an afternoon with dramatic clouds while walking on the beach at Port Orford, Oregon, with Redfish Rocks just visible on the horizon.

Trees casting long shadows at daybreak, based on a sketch from my imagination. This painting was created using traditional media (acrylic on canvas).

THE INSTALLATION

The paintings, as they looked on the wall of the Gallery. They run left-to-right, starting with the top picture and ending with the bottom picture.
